Alex Rodriguez had an RBI double and Jose Tabata hit his first home run of the spring in the ninth inning, but other than that, the Yankees didn't muster much offense. Bronson Sardinha had two hits and Brett Gardner drove in one. Chein-Ming Wang allowed one run in four innings. He allowed three hits and struck out four. Philip Hughes struggled, allowing three runs in an inning and a third. Rivera, Beam, Proctor, Britton and Villone all had scoreless outings.
